History Credo Mission Statement Accomplishmentsts Activities With the objective to improve our Fraternity's progress, presence, and positive influence within our Brothers' lives and in order to promote a positive difference within our environment and surroundings, we maintain and actively engage in the following: Community Service/Philanthropy: Participation within OXFAM banquet, an informational upon the issue of World Hunger within less industrialized countries, nations, and territories. Volunteer service and contribution towards the positive interaction with youngsters, including collection and donation of toys through Toys for Tots . Measures of support for Habitat for Humanity, an organization supported by former President Jimmy Carter, that seeks to develop the range, extent, and influence of public services towards assistance in housing for individuals categorized and classified as having a low-income and needy status for shelter. Fundraising and Development of support for American Cancer Society. Annual Programs in support of the objectives of the March of Dimes, including support and promotion of information regarding their Annual Walk, in addition to active support and donation towards the fight against the prevalence of infant mortality towards improvement in prenatal health care. Programs in support of community collection of foods for donation to Churches and Community based programs in support of the needy. Programs on Campus: Campus/Quad Beautification; including clean-up and removal of trash, garbage, and waste, and positive improvement in landscaping. Support for Campus Catholic Ministries with coordination, participation, and assistance towards the implementation of their programs on/off-campus . Annual D.W.I. Program: Informational program in coordinated conjunction with Sigma Lambda Beta Sorority, that seeks to promote a greater degree of understanding of a potential problem that afflicts individuals within the College segment, from which education may seek to exert preventive influence. The Program includes information on past statistics, D.W.I. laws, measures and methods to avoid D.W.I., signs to detect and measures to prevent individuals within ones' proximity from driving drunk, looking out for one another, and has included live testimony from individuals who have been involved in or affected by a drunk driver or drunk driving. Program on Racism: Conducted in conjunction with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, which seeks to inform the campus community of various myths and misguided and unbridled forms of prejudice that exist, in particular, among our campus community, as positively diverse as it may be. Objectives include the promotion of positive understanding towards the relation between individuals as a whole, as a human society, aside and apart from restrictive and limited superficial boundaries . Coordination and Participation in events involved with the I.F.S.C. (Inter Fraternity-Sorority Council), coordinating relations and programs towards relations and operations between organizations within a quasi-governmental structure, acting as a board, from which decisions are made by all represented collective members. Objectives include improving public relations between organizations and the campus community, and towards utilizing available Fraternity and Sorority Resources towards the promotion of public service.
